The Impatiens Kilimanjari Foundation has assumed the obligation of protecting the privacy of its sponsors and users. We have therefore drafted these privacy policy rules, which deal with collecting clients’ data, its use, publication, distribution and recording. Our activities on the Internet are in full compliance with EU and Estonian rules and regulations.
Collection and use of personal data:
Personal data are the information collected with donations. The collection of personal data can take place in the following manner:
- when making a donation in our web environment upon recording the contact information of a person. The personal data required may include name, e-mail address and personal ID code.
- when entering into a regular donation agreement upon providing personal data including name, e-mail address and personal ID code.
Use of the personal data collected
Collected personal data are used for notifying you about foundation news, reports and campaigns. A sponsor who does not wish to be on our mailing list or receive news notifications can unsubscribe from the list at any time.
Personal ID codes are used for issuing income tax refunds to sponsors.
Protection of personal data
The Impatiens Kilimanjari website applies all precautionary measures (including administrative, technical and physical) to protect the personal data of clients. Only authorised persons have access to amend and process the data.
Data Security
All client information obtained during visits to the online donation environment and when making donations is treated as confidential. Encrypted data exchange channels with banks ensure the security of payers’ personal data and bank details.
Conditions and Changes in Privacy Policy
By using our website you confirm that you are familiar with the above-mentioned principles and conditions and accept them. We reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the general privacy policy as necessary, notifying all sponsors/users.
